Tips for Acing an ESL Job Interview at ESL Job Station

The easiest way for colleges to determine whether or not to recruit you is through an interview. As a result, you must prepare properly for your interview in advance.

Guidelines for a Korean Job Board interview are provided here.

Check to see if the app is installed on your phone or computer. Perform a pre-interview test of your audio and video equipment.

Write down your thoughts on the following issues:

·What drew you to a career in ESL education?

·Do you have a specific reason for wanting to work in Korea?

· If a student disrupts your class, how will you handle it?

·When properly instructing kids, what do you believe is the most crucial attribute a teacher should possess?

·When was the last time you had the opportunity to work with young people and teach them English?

·Within the next two minutes, please make an introduction of yourself.

·How will you deal with the cultural differences you'll encounter?

·What strategies do you employ when confronted with new or unexpected circumstances?

The Art of Communication

·Vocal clarity is essential. Make an effort to be upbeat while you speak. Smile!!

· Don't speak too loudly or too softly.

·Try to use complete phrases when you talk to each other.

·Teachers with a high level of energy and enthusiasm are sought after by schools.

·Be sure to show them you're enthusiastic about teaching their students.

·Make a mental note of anything crucial.

·If you don't understand something during the interview, you can email the interviewer later & ask for clarification.

· Create a list of three to five questions you'd like to ask the person.

·The interviewer will see that you are outgoing and positive if you ask a few questions periodically.

·You must show a desire to help children learn English by expressing your interest. Avoid asking too many questions, though. Interviewers may misunderstand you as a picky person because of this.

Conclusion

Some firms are only interested in the applicant's height and weight (kg). Be courteous even if the inquiry makes you feel bad. If you're worried that your excess weight might be a liability, you should assert confidently that you are fit enough to do your job.
